If you answered yes to any of these questions, join the Canadian Science Writers' Association! There are two membership categories, "Regular" and "Student/International":

Regular Membership is open to anyone interested in science and technology communication in Canada including professional writers or editors of science-related material for newspapers, magazines, science journals, radio or television, public information officers, teachers of science writing or editing and other professionals interested in fostering improved science communication. Fee: $75 ($35 if you live outside Canada)
Student Membership/International Membership (outside Canada) is open to bona fide full-time students of any educational institution and members living outside of Canada. Fee: $35
