Improv for Science Communicators

  • 20 Feb 2016
  • 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (PST)
  • Paper Street Studio, Victoria BC

As a science communicator, you find the studies exciting. But have you ever had someone's eyes glaze over when you try to explain them?

In this 3-hour workshop for CSWA members, well-known improviser and storyteller Dave Morris will walk you through some techniques for making the science come alive to your listeners without compromising the facts. After taking part in this fun and interactive session with your peers, you'll come away with a fresh take on how to approach your oral and written science communication.

No previous improv experience required. A special member rate of $35 is payable in advance. Sign up early, as seats are limited.

Sign up by emailing: contact@paperstreettheatre.ca

For more information, email our organizer, CSWA member Kristina Campbell: bykriscampbell@gmail.com

Any seats left by 31 January will be offered to non-members at Paper Studio’s regular rate. Hope to see you all there! And thanks Kristina for suggesting and organizing this for us.
